K.A.W.K.A.C. is the vision of Demetra Black (Demi) a New Orleans Native, who has merged her love of all things creative with her love to serve people into what has become her lifelong passion. Upon a special request from a friend to help with their nuptials, Demi’s passion for planning was ignited and Knot A Worry Knot A Care Events was born. Demi brings style and creativity to all her events, no event is too big or too small. She’s known for bringing her client’s simple concept to extraordinary levels, all while providing a stress free environment. Demi has apprentice and worked with local wedding planner Andrea Patton of Another Perfect Affair. National planners Karen Clark, owner of Something Borrowed Something Blue of Raleigh, North Carolina as seen on the Style Network hit television shoe “Who’s Wedding Is It Anyway”, and Stephanie Watson of DivaZstyle Weddings & Events in Detroit, Michigan. Throughout the year, Demi attends workshops and educational seminars to stay current with industry trends. “I take pride and passion in planning and designing events. I am here to help create a wonderful lasting memory, one that will stick with you for a lifetime. Planning an event can be stressful, my philosophy is that it doesn’t have to be, I believe you should have a fairy God-mother (Me) like Cinderella too help you along the way.
